Landhaus Tausendschon in Fischbach bei Dahn

The owners are very friendly and the quality of the food is very good. Everything is very tasty. It's worth a visit.

I was from 09/28 until 02.10.20 guest in this wonderful, unique country house that deserves the name thousand beautiful. I had booked the 5-day offer which includes 5 nights including breakfast, 3 times a three-course menu and once a 4-course menu. In addition, a fruit basket, water and sparkling wine in the room. As soon as I entered the house, I was impressed by its cozy and very appealing atmosphere, which is created on the one hand by the incredibly friendly leading couple and on the other hand by the artistically unique ambience of the hotel. Here you still talk to the guest with a friendliness that comes from the heart. Here the smile and the charm are real, the warmth is authentic and I felt cared for and welcomed from the first moment. On the walls of the restaurant and in the corridors of the hotel hang 3-D collages like I have never seen them before and which were designed by the host himself. I have spent a lot of time looking at the details of these lovingly designed works of art that deserve to be presented to a larger audience. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and were absolutely clean. The decor was (in my case) rather simple, but everything was there that you can expect from a good hotel room. As a hiker, I don't need designer furniture, a gold-framed television or any other nonsense. What I need is a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom and a TV in the evening to watch the news. Everything was available and so the room was great. The breakfast buffet offered everything I had hoped for to strengthen myself for long hikes. Everything is fresh, tasty and rich. What I hadn't expected were the menus served in the evening. I thought that a country house served rather good middle-class food, but I was wrong, because what came out of the kitchen was high culinary art, was incredibly tasty, fresh and lovingly presented. Here you cook with heart, love and mind without overdoing it. The charm of the hotel can be found on the plate and is a real pleasure. Fischbach and the beautiful surroundings that I wandered through are as magical as the hotel and restaurant: Forests that offer complete silence in which you can only hear your own breath and the soft rustling of the trees. Well signposted paths along numerous streams and lakes, narrow paths through a beautiful, natural mixed forest ... wonderful! If you look for a hiking map, you can buy it cheaply in the hotel. I will never forget my days at Landhaus Tausendschön and one thing is for sure: the bald guy from Mannheim will be very happy to come back and will recommend this hotel out of conviction.

Landhaus Tausendschön is run by the Wölker couple. This house is characterized by friendliness and great quality. As regular guests, we always like to go there😁😋

Price for the offered too high. Bread unfortunately only baked. Bad toilet ok. Clean. Too loud by other guests who drink and celebrate on the terrace.

The first and certainly not last time been here. Super clean, friendly atmosphere, family business and warmest hospitality. Yes there is Wi-Fi. Food is amazing and that is not over the top. Keep it up.

Very nice, stylish restaurant ..... autumn special dishes, e.g. with chestnuts. We found that very fine and absolutely recommendable.
